Our Story

Halcyon Rune was established in 2014 by a group of strategy consultants who shared a vision for a different kind of advisory practice. Having worked in larger consulting firms, they recognized a gap in the market for boutique consulting that combined analytical depth with genuine partnership. The name "Halcyon" reflects their commitment to bringing clarity and calm to complex organizational challenges, while "Rune" symbolizes the wisdom and insight they aim to provide.

The founding team brought expertise from diverse industries including manufacturing, financial services, technology, and public sector organizations across Southeast Asia. They observed that many organizations needed more than just recommendations; they needed a thought partner who would invest time in understanding their unique context, culture, and constraints. This insight shaped the firm's approach from the beginning.
